Good News Cross Country Skiers
Trails on our Western Trail Network have excellent wind protection and are meticulously groomed.
Don't let wind ruin your day. Our trail conditions are too good to miss, dress warm and come out and enjoy!
After yesterday's warm temps and last night's quick freeze trail surface set up firm. We have been out grooming, for hours, with both renovator and tiller. The result is a very nice machine groomed loose granular- powder mix. We are grooming for quality over quantity today.
40 km open- 25 freshly groomed Skiers will be amazed with our trail conditions. Due to our remarkably deep base (17"-27") our trails have easily survived the warm spell. It has been a lot of work but we have unbelievably good conditions for weekend!
Freshly groomed: Waterfall Trail, Experimental Forest Trails, East Albany Brook Trail Network, Upper Meadow, East Pasture, Lower fields, Upper and Lower Scenic and Simple Saco River trails, #22, 19a, #42 , #7 and Yates Farm Trail network. Trails to Attitash MT Village will have a firm surface today. A portion of trail #40 is closed due to logging.
Come find out what our skiers already know: At Bear Notch Ski Touring we work hard to provide skiers with the best conditions possible.
Due to sensible snow management Bear Notch Ski Touring always has best conditions available.
Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you.
