    Good News Cross Country Skiers

Our trail conditions are too good to miss. Come enjoy some excellent cross country skiing before the storm!

Since the warm and wet spell and quick freeze, we have been out grooming with both renovator and tiller daily. It has taken many hours of grooming to soften trail surface. The result is a nice machine groomed sugar granular –powder mix. It does not get much better, great kick and glide. We are grooming for quality over quantity again today. Due to our remarkably deep base (17"-27") our trails have easily survived the warm spell and rain. The moisture actually helped improve the quality of our snow. We have unbelievably good conditions at this point. Come ski the difference!

40 km open- 20 freshly groomed

Skiers are amazed with our trail conditions

Freshly groomed: Waterfall Trail, Experimental Forest Trails, East Albany Brook Trail Network, Upper Meadow, East Pasture, Lower fields, Upper and Lower Scenic and Simple Saco River trails, #22, 19a, #42and #7. Yates Farm Trail network was freshly groomed yesterday and remain in very good condition. Trails to Attitash MT Village will have a very firm surface today. A small portion of trail #40 is closed due to logging.

Come find out what our skiers already know: At Bear Notch Ski Touring we work hard to provide skiers with the best conditions possible.

Due to sensible snow management Bear Notch Ski Touring always has best conditions available.

Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you.
