            We are closed today

After yesterday intense weather pattern our trails require work and waiting before we can groom. Some areas experienced water damage, some wind damage. Even though the surface is frozen, snow underneath is still wet, so we cannot groom yet. Tomorrow is Christmas so we will not be open till Monday at best.

Good News is, if there is any, we still have good snow coverage and will be able produce decent X-C conditions once we recover.

Received 17" of nice dense snow at base 20" in Experimental Forest Area. As lovely as this snow is it is the first major storm of the season, Lots of branches down and overhanging trees to be cleared. It will take time to create quality groomed conditions. To top it all off, Covid invaded our staff last week. Good News is we on road to recovery, but still have to be careful not to over extend. We are open for pass holders only today. It is a winter wonderland out there today so come out and enjoy!

Trails will not be groomed but offer a very nice early season ski.

Our trail network is open for Season Pass Holders (Bear Notch Believers).

Thank you to all the Bear Notch Believers see you next season.

Die-Hard skiers and snowshoers will still find skiable snow in the Experimental Forest area. Trails to access to this area have very thin coverage with gray ice.

Though it is too early, spring has sprung. Streams are flowing and the birds are chirping. Skiing is not perfect, but it is still a very pleasant experience on the trails. Come out and enjoy!

People that want to get out on trails can do so on snowshoes. Our waterfall crossing is still in.
