bnst conditions

                                   2/4/19

    Good News Cross Country Skiers

Our Trail Conditions remain unbelievably good.

With today's predicted warm temps, we are out grooming fast and light, before temps rise above freezing. We are grooming any trail that requires grooming early today. Trail surface will be powder – packed powder in AM hours and go over to moist packed powder after temps rise. Best ski will be early today. We have a base depth of 19"-29" on our Western trail network. We will survive this warm spell with no problems. Once temps drop back below freezing we will be out grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes throughout our trail system. Skiing is too good to miss, come out and enjoy!

Our Village Loop is open on weekends only. There is a logging operation going on, so we have to close a portion of trail #40 mid-week. This is a temporary situation.

Packed Powder - Powder surface (AM hours) Wet Packed (later in day)

45KM open – 37 km groomed

Groomed and ready: Waterfall Trail, Experimental Forest Trails, East Albany brook trails, Upper Meadow, East Pasture, Lower fields, Upper and Lower Scenic and simple Saco river trails, Yates Farm Trail, #22, 19a, #42 and #7. Trails to Attitash MT Village were groomed Saturday. Come find out what our skiers already know: At Bear Notch Ski Touring we work hard to provide skiers with the best conditions possible.

Due to sensible snow management Bear Notch Ski Touring always has best conditions available.

Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you.
