It is Snowing over an inch so far!

We will groom with storm throughout the day

We spent two days preparing for this event.  This new snow will instantly stick to the trails we have been grooming daily. We recommend skiing on our Western Trail Network. This area still had good coverage before this storm and will groom out nicely. On trails that were too icy to groom before this storm, this dry cold snow will not bond to the ice until groomed. The new snow just covers the ice so you cannot see it. This can be dangerous. Please use caution and stay on groomed trails.

Note: We no longer require reservations for tickets. We still have snow to groom!

We survived another rain event. Our western Network still has good coverage. Now we have had a fast freeze. This set snow up hard. We are out grooming with Renovator, Tiller and Tenderizer. It takes several grooming's to produce a quality product. Once groomed trail surface is a machine groomed loose granular- powder mix. This a slow process and we will go for quality over quantity today. Give us some time then call touring center for update. 603-374-2277

Due to warm temps and rain, all trails are closed today. This will help us maintain our base.

The good news is our base will survive this weather event and we will be out grooming as soon as snow drains and temps drop. Skiers can expect decent conditions for vacation week.

Truth be told with the predicted rapid cool down, close to zero by morning, grooming will be a challenge. We will do our best to get it right. As usual, we will be grooming for quality over quantity. Be patient then come out and enjoy!
