We received 16" new snow last storm and it is grooming out great. We are grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes on our Western Trail Network again today. Good News Cross Country Skiers

 We are open and grooming. We received 16" dense snow from the storm!

We spent yesterday removing downed trees, shaking of bent over tress and packing out trails on out Western Trail Network. This set us up for grooming today. The result is amazingly good trail conditions. It is still slow going to create quality skiing. We will groom for quality over quantity today. Should have at least 15 km of excellent skiing. We will continue to groom throughout the day. Come out and enjoy a winter wonderland ski in April!

Good News Cross Country Skiers

 The snow has arrived 11" dense snow so far with much more predicted.

Due to the forecast of high winds and heavy snow our trails are not open today. We are going to spend the day preparing for tomorrow.  Lots of overhanging and down trees to deal with, before we can groom. Over all this snow will allow us to continue to offer superb spring conditions for quite a while. See you tomorrow.

We received 24" snow from storm!

Temps did not drop below freezing last night. So we are grooming a limited amount on our western trail network today. Yesterday's grooming is fine in most areas. We will groom the heavily skied areas. Spring conditions today. It is supposed to be cloudy with some drizzle today. Tomorrow rain so today is the better choice.

 Good News Cross Country Skiers

It is snowing light powder at this point!

We have received 4" so far (6am) and it is supposed to snow all day, expect over a foot. We will be grooming with the storm though out the day. Grooming on our western network first. This area retained the base through the melt down and will groom out well. Then depending on how the storm goes we may branch out to other trails. It will be a winter wonderland on trails today. Dress for the weather then come out and enjoy. (Note: today is a classical day, a little soft for skating)

Grooming first today on: Upper Meadow, Waterfall Trail (#2), Experimental Forest Trails (#19& #5), and East Albany Brook Trails (#5, #5A &#6).

Groomed trails will have a loose granular with a little powder mixed in. Yesterday skiers were impressed with our trail conditions. Our Western Trail Network has excellent wind protection and is freshly groomed!

We received 11" of March mashed potato snow from storm. The new wet snow set up on the surface but is still moist under the surface.  Once groomed surface sets up again so we have to groom snow twice. We will groom for quality over quantity today. Grooming on our wind protected Western trail network first today. It will be slow going so give us a little time then come out and enjoy.

We received 11" of March mashed potato snow last night and it is still snowing! Due to the fact our base was still intact. This new snow extend our season. The new snow is clinging to the trees. It is a winter wonderland on trails today. That said, this new snow will take time to groom. There are a lot of branches down and bent over trees. We will groom for quality over quantity today. Grooming on our Western trail network first today. It will be slow going so give us a little time then come out and enjoy.

 60km open – 20 km groomed

Good News Cross Country Skiers

As promised, we have groomed more trails. The really good news is we have been able to create a surprisingly good trail surface. Machine groomed loose granular on 20 km of trails. Skiers are very impressed with the trail conditions Come ski the difference. This has been a lot of work and was slow going. First we had wind debris to clean up. Then groom trails about 6 times to soften trail surface. We groomed fresh tracks and skate lanes yesterday. Last night, trails set up lightly so we will groom as needed today.  Snowshoeing is possible on all trails.

Good News Cross Country Skiers

As promised, we have groomed more trails. The really good news is we have been able to create a surprisingly good trail surface. Machine groomed loose granular on 20 km of trails. Skiers are very impressed with the trail conditions Come ski the difference. This has been a lot of work and was slow going. First we had wind debris to clean up. Then groom trails about 6 times to soften trail surface. We groomed fresh tracks and skate lanes yesterday. Last night, trails set up lightly so we will groom as needed today.  Snowshoeing is possible on all trails.

Groomed and ready: Upper Meadow (#1), Waterfall Trail (#2), Experimental Forest Trails(#19&#5), East Albany Brook trails(#5,5b,&#6), Lower fields and Pine forest loop(#11).Plus Our village loop, Trail #30, #22 and Yates Farm Trail network #32 &32a
