    Good News Cross Country Skiers

We received 1" new snow last night

And it is grooming out nicely!

We groomed extensively on our Western trail Network yesterday. We groomed with both tiller and renovator, his softened the surface allowing the new snow to adhere to trails well. We are out today grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes. The result is a very nice machine groomed loose granular-powder mix. Trails we did not groom today will have 1" new snow on a previously groomed surface, this should ski very nicely. Come ski the difference, you will find our conditions surprisingly good!

Due to our remarkably deep base (18"-28") our trails easily survived the warm spell, no icy spots.

Our Village Loop is open on weekends only. There is a logging operation going on, so we have to close a portion of trail #40 mid-week. This is a temporary situation.

Grooming in progress on: Waterfall Trail, Experimental Forest Trails, East Albany brook trails, Upper Meadow, East Pasture, Lower fields, Upper and Lower Scenic and Simple Saco River trails, #22, 19a, #42 and #7. Yates Farm Trail network will be freshly groomed today. Trails to Attitash MT Village will have 1" new snow on top of firm surface.

Come find out what our skiers already know: At Bear Notch Ski Touring we work hard to provide skiers with the best conditions possible.

Due to sensible snow management Bear Notch Ski Touring always has best conditions available.

Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you.
