Good News Cross Country Skiers 4/7/19

Best spring skiing in years. Don' Miss It!

Don't put away your skis yet, at Bear Notch Ski Touring center, there is still quality skiing left.

Our remarkably deep base (still 14"-32") is surviving the warm event exceptionally well. After yesterday's warm temps and last night's cool temp's snow set up a little firm. We are grooming with renovator and tiller this AM. The result is a sweet machine groomed Loose Granular trail surface, (some sugar and some corn)

Freshly groomed today: Our Western Trail Network, 10 km Village Loop, #42, Scenic and Simple Saco River Trails, 19A and Yates Farm Trail Network. Trails to Attitash MT village were yesterday and will ski well after temps rise above freezing.

Spring is in the air, sun is out, birds are tweeting and streams are flowing. This is a great day for a pleasant spring ski or snowshoe (rentals available). You will be very impressed with our trail conditions.

While some touring centers are closing, we are still fully open (45 km open-32 km groomed). We really do have a 14" to 32" base, we really are grooming daily and conditions really are exceptionally good. Don't be fooled by offers of marginal skiing at discounted rates. We still have high quality X-C conditions.

Due to sensible snow management Bear Notch Ski Touring always has best X-C conditions available. Come ski the difference and find out what you have been missing.

Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you.
