 Good News Cross Country Skiers

Looking for spectacular views with excellent conditions? We have them! We are grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes daily.  30 KM OF GROOMD TRAILS OPEN (15km IN EXCELLNT CONDITION- 15 KM GOOD – VERY GOOD CONDITION).

Now that temps have dropped, the snow has finally set up. We are out grooming with tiller, renovator and tenderizer. We are freshly grooming on our Western Trail Network again today. It takes time but the result is a very nice trail surface, loose granular- powder mix on top of firm snow, great for skate skiers. We are also grooming fresh tracks for beginners and track skiers. Skiers will be pleasantly surprised by our trail conditions. We currently have about Find out what you have been missing. Bread is baking and Soups are on. Come on out and enjoy!

Now that temps have dropped, the snow has finally set up. We are out grooming with tiller, renovator and tenderizer. The result is a very nice trail surface, loose granular- powder mix. We have them! We are grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes this AM.

We had received 20"of snow since the last meltdown. This new snow on top is grooming out very well. Conditions are fantastic. We are grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes as needed on our Western Trail Network again today. The new snow was moist, trail surface will be wet packed snow on all groomed trails. On trails that we did not groom today, there will be 1.5"new snow on previously groomed surface. These trails will have firm surface in AM hours.  Skiers have been amazed by our trail conditions. The storm is over and we escaped the bullet. We actually had a net gain of 1.5" new snow. We are grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes this AM.

We had received 20"of snow since the last meltdown. This new snow is grooming in well. Conditions are fantastic. We are grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes as needed on our Western Trail Network again today. This new snow is moist, trail surface will be wet packed snow on all groomed trails. On trails that we did not groom today, there will be 1.5"new snow on previously groomed surface. These trails will ski fine   Skiers have been amazed by our trail conditions. It is snowing again 2+"so far    1/16/2020

We received 1.5"-2" new snow Tuesday night. It is snowing again at least 1"-3" predicted. This new snow is grooming very nicely. After temps dropped on Monday, we went out to see what was left after this weekend's meltdown. Luckily we still had decent skiing leaving from our base station. We spent Monday and Tuesday tenderizing the trail surface and repairing weak spots with man moved snow. The result was we had a trail surface that ranged from good to excellent. With this new snow, trail surface has been upgraded to excellent (Packed powder - powder) on trails we have been preparing since last weekend's meltdown.   Skiers will be pleasantly surprised. At this point we have a limited amount of terrain open (about 11km). This new snow means we will open lots more trails, including Yates Farm Network. Come on out and enjoy!

We are open and grooming    1/15/2020

We have received 1.5"-2" new snow last night. This new snow is grooming in very nicely. After temps dropped, we went out to see what was left after this weekend's meltdown. Luckily we still had decent skiing leaving from our base station. We spent Monday and Tuesday tenderizing the trail surface and repairing weak spots with man moved snow. The result was we had a trail surface that ranged from good to excellent. With this new snow Trail surface will be excellent (Packed powder loose- granular mix) on trails we have been preparing since last weekend's meltdown.   Skiers will be pleasantly surprised. At this point we have a limited amount of terrain open (about 9km).We will be working today to open more trails. We have a couple trails in fair shape, once we get them to good shape we will open them. Come on out and enjoy!

Good News Cross Country Skiers

     We are open and grooming!

Yesterday, after temps dropped, we went out to see what was left after this weekend's meltdown. Luckily we still has decent skiing leaving from our base station. We sent yesterday tenderizing the trail surface and repairing weak spots. The result is we have a trail surface that ranges from good to very good (loose granular powder mix). Skiers will be pleasantly surprised. At this point we have a limited amount of terrain open (about 5km round trip).We will be working today to open more trails. We have a couple trails in fair shape, once we get them to good shape we will open them. Come on out and enjoy!

   Not so Good News Cross Country Skiers

     Our trails will be closed again today.

This weekend warm weather and rain was very damaging to our trail network. Yesterday what snow is left was to wet and soft to go out on. Now that temps have dropped we will head out this AM to see if any trails have enough snow to groom. This will take time.

The good news is: We expect to be open tomorrow with a limited amount of skiing available. THINK SNOW

We have received 18" new snow in 10 days. The new snow has made trail conditions excellent. We have been grooming daily with Pisten bully on our Western Trail Network daily while temps were cold. The result is a high quality powder- packed powder trail surface this AM. As temps rise the snow will become wet and soft. Best skiing will be in AM hours. Don't miss it!     Good News Cross Country Skiers

Our Western Trail Network has excellent wind protection.

We have received 18" new snow in 9 days. The new snow made trail conditions excellent. Now that temps have dropped we are bringing out the Pisten Bully and grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes on our Western Trail Network (this area has excellent wind protection). The result is a high quality powder- packed powder trail surface. Don't miss it! Opening more trails daily (Yates Farm Trail Network is open today). Skiers and snowshoers will enjoy a pleasant and memorable winter experience on trails today. Come out and enjoy!

    Good News Cross Country Skiers

    We are open and grooming daily!

        Trail Conditions are very nice (no ice)

We have received 17" new in 8 days and more is on the way. The new snow made trail conditions excellent. Now that temps have dropped we are bringing out the Pisten Bully and grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes on our Western Trail Network daily. The result is a high quality powder- packed powder trail surface. Don't miss it! Opening more trails daily (Yates Farm Trail Network open today). Skiers and snowshoers will enjoy a pleasant and memorable winter experience on trails today. Come out and enjoy!

We received 3" fluffy snow overnight. We had already received 14" new snow last week. This new snow will make trail conditions excellent. Now that temps have dropped we will be out grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes on our Western Trail Network. We received 12" new snow from Tuesday's storm and trails were already grooming out well. We will be out freshly grooming trails again this Am. Opening more trails daily. The result is a wet snow- packed powder trail surface.
