bnst conditions

Good News Cross Country Skiers 4/6/19

Don't put away your skis yet, at Bear Notch Ski Touring center, there is plenty of quality skiing left. Our remarkably deep base (still 14"-32") survived the warm event exceptionally well. We received a light coating of snow overnight. After yesterday's warm temps and last night's mild temp's snow did not set up. We have groomed extensively throughout our trail system. The result is a sweet machine groomed Loose Granular trail surface, (some sugar and some corn)

Freshly groomed today: Our Western Trail Network, 10 km Village Loop, #42, Scenic and Simple Saco River Trails, Trails to Attitash MT village are all freshly groomed and ready. Yates Farm Trail Network was groomed last night just before new snow.

You will be very impressed with our trail conditions.

Best spring skiing in years. Don' Miss It!

While some touring centers are closing, we are still fully open (45 km open-32 km groomed). We really do have a 14" to 32" base, we really are grooming daily and conditions really are exceptionally good. Don't be fooled by offers of marginal skiing at discounted rates. We still have high quality X-C conditions.

Due to sensible snow management Bear Notch Ski Touring always has best X-C conditions available. Come ski the difference and find out what you have been missing.

Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you.
