Good News Cross Country Skiers

We are still open and grooming

The sun is out, birds are singing streams are flowing, trails are groomed and it is paradise out on the trails. Come on out and enjoy!

Here's is the deal we lost a tons of snow the last couple of days. Even though our trail network is getting smaller, our snow base remains intact on part of our Western Trail Network. The lower fields have melted and trails by Saco River have thin coverage. Good news is we still have decent spring skiing on Waterfall trail to Experimental Forest Trails and Albany Brook Trails.  The areas we are still grooming are a very nice spring ski.  We have been offering the best spring conditions in decades and still expect to offer decent late spring conditions on a day by day basis.

Best skiing today: Waterfall Trail, Experimental Forest Trails, Albany Brook Trail Network and #19.

Very thin coverage on: #19a, Upper Saco River Trail, Pine Forest Loop Lower Fields( gone –melted)

Previously groomed (good for backcountry and snowshoeing)

East Bartlett Brook Network, Village loop Trail, #41, and # 42

Don't give up on one last ski, it will be worth it.

Next year's membership passes are on sale and

New and used equipment packages are on sale.

Good News Cross Country Skiers

We are still open and grooming

The good news is even though we lost a lot of snow the last couple of days our snow base remains intact. Our snow survived the rain for the most part. There are a couple of minimal areas that will require repair, over all we made out OK.  We are out grooming a limited amount on our Western Trail Network today, still too wet for grooming some areas. We will have an updated report once grooming is complete. We have been offering the best spring conditions in decades and still expect decent spring conditions for the weekend. Our skiers have been amazed with the trail conditions. We groomed extensively on our Western Network yesterday, will groom again after rain.

Previously groomed and open: Waterfall Trail, Experimental Forest Trails, Albany Brook Trail Network and #19, #19a, Upper Saco River Trail, Lower Fields, Pine Forest Loop, Village loop Trail, #41, and # 42. Don't give up on winter, we expect to be offering quality spring skiing for Easter weekend.

Next year's membership passes are on sale and

New and used equipment packages are on sale.

We are open and grooming daily

We are offering the best spring conditions in decades! Our skiers are amazed with the trail conditions. With today's sun it will be an awesome day on the trails, no better way to enjoy the day. Bring sunglasses and sunscreen and come on out! We groomed extensively on our Western Network last evening. This allows trails to set up overnight and slows the softening on warm days. Freshly groomed trails will have a machine groomed loose granular surface in AM hours and wet granular snow later in the day. Best skiing will be in AM hours then catch some rays in afternoon.

Freshly groomed: Waterfall Trail, Experimental Forest Trails, Albany Brook Trail Network and #19, #19a, Upper Saco River Trail, Lower Fields, Pine Forest Loop, Village loop Trail, #41, and # 42.Trails to Attitash MT Village and through to Fields of Attitash are closed, the train is in operation and we cannot be on the tracks. Skiing and snowshoeing from conservation area is still allowed. Yates Farm Network is a previously groomed trail, there will be about4"of snow on top (spring snowshoeing and back country).
