Good News Cross Country Skiers 4/3/19

Don't put away your ski yet, at Bear Notch Ski Touring center, there is plenty of quality skiing left. While some touring centers are closing, we are still fully open (45 km open-32 km groomed). We really do have a 21" to 38" base, we really are grooming daily and conditions really are exceptionally good. Don't be fooled by offers of marginal skiing at discounted rates. Come find out what you have been missing. Enjoy a pleasant spring ski at scenic Bear Notch Ski Touring Center. We are grooming as needed on our Western Trail Network and Yates Farm Trail Network.

Grooming strategy is to: Groom most trails in evening and let surface set up overnight. These trails will be firm in AM hours and ski excellent for rest of day once temps rise (usually by 10 am). We are also grooming a few trails in morning for early birds. These trails will ski excellent in AM and go soft after temps rise. Even though we are still doing soups and bread, our picnic tables are out, bring a lunch and enjoy!

Due to sensible snow management Bear Notch Ski Touring always has best X-C conditions available. Come ski the difference and find out what you have been missing.

Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you.
