Good News Cross Country Skiers
4/25/19 - Groomed Last night to compress and flatten snow. It is likely the last time we will groom. No tracks just skate lanes, classical skiers will enjoy also the surface. 7km ski (no bare spots) - 12km ski (take off skis twice). It is late season skiing but still worth it. With today's hot temps it is best to get out early. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses and a lunch.
4/23/19 - Though our touring center is officially closed. There is still snow out there and apparently we can't stop grooming it. We will be grooming every now and then just to keep skiing alive for those who want to enjoy late spring skiing. Conditions are surprisingly good for this late in spring. Come out and enjoy a pleasant late season ski!
Die Hard Skiers: We still have continuous skiing leaving right from our touring center. Waterfall Trail provides access to multiple use trails, which have continuous snow coverage and were groomed last night. Spring skiing this late is a rarity in April. Spring is in the air, Sun is out, Birds are tweeting, Streams are flowing, come enjoy a pleasant spring ski.
Thanks for a great season. See you on Thanksgiving weekend for our open house, enjoy your summer!
Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you!
