Good news cross country skiers.
We are open and grooming for the weekend.
Conditions remain nice. Come out and enjoy!
We still have quality skiing on our Western Trail Network. Trails have complete coverage leaving right from our base station. We groomed some trails last night, these trails will be a little firm (good skating) in AM and ski excellent once temps rise. Trails groomed this AM will have loose granular in AM and a wet granular surface later in the day. Give trails a little time and skiing will be fine. Skiers are impressed with trail conditions. Trails around conservation area have melted but Trails from Attitash MT Village and through to Fields of Attitash still have thin coverage. Yates Farm Trail Network, #41and #43 and will work out best for back country skiers and snowshoeing. Spring has sprung, picnic tables are out, birds are singing , don't miss it, come out and enjoy! Our scenic and simple river trails have thin coverage.
Trail surface- Loose and frozen granular in AM hours
Wet granular snow later in day
Best skiing: Waterfall Trail, Albany Brook Trail network, Experimental Forest Trails, #42 and the Village Loop. Lower Fields and Saco River Trails have thin coverage.
Come find out what our skiers know. At Bear Notch Ski Touring, we work hard to provide the best conditions possible.
Next year season passes and X-C equipment are on sale.
Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you
