Good news cross country skiers
Coverage is getting thin but trails still offer a pleasant ski. It is almost over. Don't miss it!
After last night's rain snow set up. Trail surface is icy this morning, but will soften quickly today. If it doesn't we will go out and groom. Once groomed trails trail surface is loose granular and gray ice, wet granular later in day. We have been freshly grooming on a portion of our Western Trail Network daily. Trails have complete coverage leaving right from our base station. Snow coverage is very thin with gray ice spots at bottom of Waterfall Trail (#2). Snow coverage on trails in Experimental Forest area is thinning fast but will still offer a pleasant ski today. Skiers have been enjoying a late season ski. Spring has sprung, picnic tables are out, birds are singing, streams are flowing, don't miss it, come out and enjoy! We are not preparing soup or bread today, bring a lunch and enjoy a picnic table.
Spring prices $15/adult---$10/ SR---- 16 and under free
Trail surface- loose granular AM, wet granular later
Best skiing: Waterfall Trail, Albany Brook Trail network, #19, and Experimental Forest Trails.
