4/16/17 15KM open - 10KM groomed
Good News Cross Country Skiers
We are still open and grooming
The sun is out, birds are singing streams are flowing, trails are groomed and it is paradise out on the trails. Come on out and enjoy!
Here's is the deal we lost a lot of snow the last couple of days. Even though our trail network is getting smaller, our snow base remains intact on most of our Western Trail Network. The areas we are still grooming are a very nice spring ski. We groomed on our Western Trail Network last evening. This will allow snow to set up overnight and slow the melt down today. We have been offering the best spring conditions in decades and still expect decent spring conditions for the weekend. Our skiers have been impressed with the trail conditions.
Freshly groomed today (best skiing): Waterfall Trail, Experimental Forest Trails, Albany Brook Trail Network and #19.
Groomed yesterday: #19a, Upper Saco River Trail, Pine Forest Loop (still a nice ski) and Lower Fields (Very thin coverage).
Previously groomed (good for backcountry and snowshoeing)
East Bartlett Brook Network, Village loop Trail, #41, and # 42
Don't give up on X-C skiing, we expect to be offering quality spring skiing through Easter weekend and beyond.
Next year's membership passes are on sale and
New and used equipment packages are on sale.
