bnst conditions

                                    3/3/2020

Good News Cross Country Skiers Skiers are amazed by our trail conditions. Come ski the difference and find out what you have been missing.

Most say best skiing they have found in the state. Don't miss it

Looking for meticulously groomed trails with spectacular views? We have them!

Knowing this warm day was coming, we groomed extensively yesterday. Temps barely dropped below freezing last night and trails did not set up hard. Trails will already ski well. With today's temps predicted around 50 degrees it is counterproductive to groom. If we did groom trails would go to mush quickly. By not grooming skiing should remain excellent throughout the day. Our snow base is holding out superbly. Our picnic tables are out. Bring sunglasses and a lunch, come out and enjoy the warm temps. Trail surface in AM powder- packed powder later in the day trail surface will be moist. The much sought after Waterfall Crossing is open.

Groomed yesterday: Waterfall trail (#2), Experimental Forest Trail (#19), East Albany Brook Trail network(#5,#5B,#22,#6), Upper Meadow(#1), Lower fields, East Pasture, Our Upper(#16, #17) and Lower(#30) Scenic Simple Saco River Trails. 40a. #42 and trail #40 to Village Loop, and Yates Farm Trail Network (#31, #32). Trails to Attitash MT village(#40) were freshly groomed Saturday
