    Good News Cross Country Skiers

                WE ARE OPEN!

With today's varying weather we will be open on a limited basis. Hard core skiers it is currently a light drizzle/rain thing going on. We are not going to groom again today. We groomed extensively on our Western trail Network yesterday.  Trail surface did not set up last night and trails will still ski well. Skiers can expect a moist packed powder-loose granular trail conditions.

We are not opening rental area until noon today. It is supposed to clear off around noon, with rising temps this afternoon. Skiing will be fun. We suggest you take morning to do projects. Then come out and enjoy an afternoon ski.

Due to our remarkably deep base (17"-27") our trails have easily  survived the warm spell. We will have excellent conditions for weekend!

Groomed yesterday: Waterfall Trail, Experimental Forest Trails, East Albany brook trails, Upper Meadow, East Pasture, Lower fields, Upper and Lower Scenic and Simple Saco River trails, #22, 19a, #42 , #7 and Yates Farm Trail network. Trails to Attitash MT Village will have 1" new snow on top of firm surface.

Come find out what our skiers already know: At Bear Notch Ski Touring we work hard to provide skiers with the best conditions possible.

Due to sensible snow management Bear Notch Ski Touring always has best conditions available.

Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you.
