trail conditions

                  12/15/17

   Good news cross country skiers

We are preparing trails for the weekend!

We received 15" of powder snow this week. We are out packing the snow to create a base. Tracks have been set in some areas. We are not selling day passes until weekend, but season pass holders are welcome to enjoy an early season ski. Classical skiing is best at this point. Base is still soft.

We will be open this weekend for skiers snowshoers, rentals, season membership passes, new and used equipment sales and gift certificates for Christmas.

We are grooming on a limited basis at this point, even though it is cold today. We do not want to risk grooming the snow too hard at this point.

Come on out and enjoy!

Trail surface is Powder – Packed powder

We have been grooming on: Waterfall trail, Experimental Forest Trails, Albany Brook trail, Upper Saco River Trail, Upper Meadow and Lower Fields. Groomed trails have very nice early season conditions.

Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you.
