                                            3/3/17

Good News Cross Country Skier

Our snow base remains excellent - 50km open - 40 km groomed

It is taking time, but trails are grooming out fine.

Looking for excellent X-C conditions? We have them.

Come on out and enjoy our pristine uncrowded trails!

After several days of warm and wet conditions and last night's cold temps, trail surface set up firm. We are out grooming with both the renovator and tiller today. The result is a nice machine groomed loose granular trail surface. We are grooming for quality over quantity today. We have groomed extensively on our Western Trail Network already and will continue to groom throughout the day. Quality grooming is going slow, give us a little time then come out and enjoy. We recommend skiing only on freshly groomed trails today.

Our Upper Saco River trail is freshly groomed has spectacular views and is beginner friendly.

Groomed and ready: Waterfall Trail, Experimental Forest Trails, Albany Brook Trail Network and #19, #19a

Grooming in progress on: Upper Saco River Trail, Lower Fields and Pine Forest Loop, Village loop and Trail # 42.

Due to sensible snow management, we always have best X-C conditions available!

Come find out what our skiers already know: At Bear Notch Ski Touring we work hard to provide skiers with the best conditions possible.

Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you.
