                                         1/13/17

Hang in there Cross Country Skiers!

Snow is draining and temps are dropping. We will be back to winter and grooming for MLK weekend

We are closed today to allow our snow base (8"-12")to drain. Though it is difficult to ever close, our snow remains wet and soft. It is our opinion that trails are still too soft to be on. We are closed again today. If we let skiers out today it would ruin our trail surface for future grooming. Once temps drop and snow has drained we will be open and grooming. Prior to this warm spell, we groomed extensively on our trail network (30KM).  Due to our sensible snow management, trail conditions will be excellent once temps drop. We expect to have best skiing available for MKL weekend.

Come find out what our skiers already know: At Bear Notch Ski Touring we work hard to provide skiers with the best conditions possible.

Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you.
