Good News Cross Country Skiers
Die-Hard skiers will still find skiable snow in the Experimental Forest trails. Trails to access to this area have very thin coverage with gray ice.
Though it is too early spring has sprung. Streams are flowing and the birds are chirping. Skiing is not perfect but it is still a very pleasant experience on the trails. Come out and enjoy!
People that want to get out on trails can do so on snowshoes. All trails open to snowshoers. Our waterfall crossing is still in.
No longer grooming - thin coverage: Upper meadow (#1). Waterfall trail #2 (Thin coverage grey ice to start), to access Experimental Forest Trails (#2, better coverage & #19, very nice skiing.), Albany brook network (#5 & #5A, fair with some grey ice spots), We have limited first time skier's terrain open.
We are only staffing rental area in AM hours. call ahead to reserve ski or snowshoe rentals
