bnst conditions

Good News Cross Country Skiers

Looking for Quality X-C conditions? We have them!

It has taken a lot of work but conditions are really quite nice (no ice). Come ski the difference.

Due to Tuesday's extreme wind our trails had large amount of blow down. We spent 4 days, so far, removing fallen trees, branches and debris from trails. Then we freshly groomed the trails we have been able to clear. The result is a relatively clean packed powder- loose granular trail surface. We have freshly groomed our Western Trail Network, the Scenic and Simple Saco River Trails, The Village Loop and Yates Farm Network again today. This is a slow process and we will go for quality over quantity. Give us a little time and skiing will be fine.

Freshly Groomed: Waterfall Trail (#2), Experimental Forest Trail (#19), East Albany Brook Trails (#5&#6), Lower Fields, trail #11&#13 and our Scenic and Simple Upper and Lower Saco River Trails (#16, #17 &#30). Yates Farm. Trail Network (#31&#32) The Bartlett brook Trail #42 and The Village loop (#40 to#30). Later today we may be able to groom Trails to Fields of Attitash (#50).

Let us a Bear Notch Believer out of you.  We do take this virus very seriously, but believe with proper precautions, people can and should still enjoy outdoor sports safely. It is our goal to send you home with pleasant memories not the virus.

Due to concerns about the coronavirus. Unfortunately, we have closed all public indoor areas. We will no longer be serving soups or bread. Our warming station area and rental area are closed to public use.  Rentals are available for learn to ski packages only. Reservations are required for all transactions. We have several picnic tables spaced out for public use. We recommend bringing a lunch and enjoy some scenic open air dining. Though this is less than perfect it is better than nothing.
