Good News Cross Country Skiers
We still have good spring X-C Trail Conditions
But snow is going fast. Don't wait, get out and enjoy!
Our base survived the meltdown, but snow coverage is thinning. Most areas of our Western Trail Network have very good to good snow coverage. Trails surface set up hard last night. We are freshly grooming on our Western trail network with tiller, renovator and tenderizer today. Once groomed trails surface is a nice machine groomed loose granular in AM hours –wet granular after temps rise. This is a slow process (quality over quantity). Give us a little time and skiing will be fine. Skiers are very impressed with our spring skiing conditions. Come enjoy the best trail conditions available on pristine uncrowded trails. Great day to pack a lunch and enjoy one of the picnic tables.
Our trail network is open for Season Pass Holders (Bear Notch Believers). Plus, an additional 75-day pass holders (by reservation)
Groomed and ready: Waterfall Trail (#2), Experimental Forest Trail (#19), East Albany Brook Trails (#5), Lower Fields, trail #11
and our Scenic and Simple Upper and Lower Saco River Trails (#16, #17 ) and Bartlett brook Trail #42. Yates Farm Trail Network (#31 ) was freshly groomed last night, firm in AM, will ski better after temps rise, good skiing with a couple of bare spots.
Trails to Fields of Attitash (#50) very thin coverage, no grooming

We do take this virus very seriously, but believe with proper precautions, people can and should still enjoy outdoor sports safely. It is our goal to send you home with pleasant memories not the virus.
Due to concerns about the coronavirus. Unfortunately, we have closed all public indoor areas. We will no longer be serving soups or bread. Our warming station area and rental area are closed to public use. Reservations are required for all transactions. We have several picnic tables spaced out for public use. We recommend bringing a lunch and enjoy some scenic open air dining. Though this is less than perfect it is better than nothing.
Check out Website for updates (www.bearnotchskitouring.com). (RESERVATION AND MASKS REQUIRED).
