  Good News Cross Country Skiers

Our Trails are in great shape and     1/17/2020

Have excellent wind protection!

We received 9" new snow from yesterday's storm. That makes 13"new snow since last weekend's meltdown. This new snow is grooming very nicely. We groomed with the storm yesterday .We roughed out quite a few trails. Today we will bring out the Pisten Bully and groom fresh tracks and skate lanes. We spent Monday and Tuesday tenderizing the trail surface and repairing weak spots with man moved snow. The result was we had a trail surface that ranged from good to excellent. With this new snow, trail surface has been upgraded to excellent (Packed powder - powder) on trails we have been preparing since last weekend's meltdown.   Skiers will be pleasantly surprised. This new snow means we will open lots more trails, including Yates Farm Network. Come on out and enjoy!

Grooming in progress on: Waterfall trail, Experimental Forest Trails, East Albany Brook Trail network, Upper Meadow, Lower fields, East Pasture, Our Scenic and Simple Saco River trails and Yates Farm Trail Network.
