Good News Cross Country Skiers
We are open and grooming 1/15/2020
We have received 1.5"-2" new snow last night. This new snow is grooming in very nicely. After temps dropped, we went out to see what was left after this weekend's meltdown. Luckily we still had decent skiing leaving from our base station. We spent Monday and Tuesday tenderizing the trail surface and repairing weak spots with man moved snow. The result was we had a trail surface that ranged from good to excellent. With this new snow Trail surface will be excellent (Packed powder loose- granular mix) on trails we have been preparing since last weekend's meltdown. Skiers will be pleasantly surprised. At this point we have a limited amount of terrain open (about 9km).We will be working today to open more trails. We have a couple trails in fair shape, once we get them to good shape we will open them. Come on out and enjoy!
