                  12/16/17

   Good news cross country skiers

We are Open and Grooming!

After receiving 15" of powder snow last week, we have been out

packing the snow to create a base. The result is trails are grooming out quite nicely. Trail surface is Powder – Packed powder Tracks have been set in some areas. We are selling day passes at early season prices this weekend $15/adult- $10/Sr - 16 and under ski free with paying adult. We have X-C ski and snowshoe rentals available. Come on out enjoy an early season ski. Classical skiing is best at this point. Base is still a little soft.

We are open this weekend for skiers snowshoers, rentals, season membership passes, new and used equipment sales and gift certificates for Christmas.

We are grooming on a limited basis at this point, even though it is cold today. We do not want to risk grooming the snow too hard at this point.

We have been grooming on: Waterfall trail, Experimental Forest Trails, Albany Brook trail, Upper Saco River Trail, Upper Meadow and Lower Fields. Groomed trails have very nice early season conditions.

Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you.
