60km open - grooming in progress
Good News Cross Country Skiers
Good news is we have been able to create a surprisingly good trail surface. Machine groomed (loose granular- powder mix) on about 8km of trails. Skiers are impressed with the conditions we have created. This has been a lot of work and is slow going. First we had wind debris to clean up. Then groom trails about 6 times to soften trail surface. Today we are freshly grooming the same trails (quality over quantity). We will continue to clean debris and groom other trails. We plan to open more trails once they have a skiable surface. Snowshoeing is possible on all trails.
Groomed and ready: Upper meadow(#1), Waterfall Trail (#2), Experimental Forest Trails(#19), East Albany Brook trails(#5,5b,), Lower fields and Pine forest loop(#11).
X-C ski and snowshoe rentals available
X-C ski lessons by reservation
