Good News Cross Country Skiers
We are open and grooming daily.
The warm temps and rain took away a lot of snow. What snow left was very firm. After many hours of grooming, we have a limited amount of trails in good shape. Skiers can use Upper meadow (#1) and Waterfall trail (#2) to access Experimental Forest Trails (#2& #19) (about 5km round trip). We are working softening the surface on other trails and will open them when ready. Quality over quantity today. Snowshoers can go on most of trails that are too firm for skiers.
NOTE: Due to COVID 19 and a staffing shortage we are no longer doing rentals to general public, only for learn to ski packages.
We do take this virus very seriously, but believe with proper precautions, people can and should still enjoy outdoor sports safely. It is our goal to send you home with pleasant memories not the virus.
Due to concerns about the corona virus. Unfortunately, we have closed all public indoor areas. We will no longer be serving soups or bread. Our warming station area and rental area are closed to public use. Reservations are required for all transactions: Rentals (ski or snowshoe), Lessons and Day passes. We have several picnic tables spaced out for public use. We recommend bringing a lunch and enjoy some scenic open air dining. Check out Webb site for updates (www.bearnotchskitouring.com).
(RESERVATION AND MASKS REQUIRED).
Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you
