Good News Cross Country Skiers

We groomed fresh tracks and skate lanes today!

We still have very nice trail conditions

We had a net gain of 1" new dense granular snow overnight. This snow will work out well in areas where our snow base was still intact. We have groomed Waterfall Trail, Experimental Forest Trails and Albany brook trails. Machine groomed loose granular surface (very nice). Coverage on river trails is very thin, but coverage in experimental Forest Trails is solid and groomed. Skiers will be amazed we still have at least 10km of freshly groomed pleasant spring skiing. Birds are out, water is flowing, sounds and smell of spring are everywhere. Skiing is too good to miss, but it will not last forever. Come out and enjoy a relaxing ski on our scenic trail network.

Our warming area and rental area will closed to public use.  Rentals will no longer be available. Good News Cross Country Skiers

Temps remained above freezing last night so trail surface did not set. Trails will continue to ski fine so we will not be grooming today.   . Wet granular trail surface in AM hrs. may get more snow by midday. Skiers will be pleasantly surprised we still have at least 10km of pleasant spring skiing. Once temps dropped below freezing Trails did set up firm. We are grooming on our Western network today.  The result is a very nice machine groomed loose granular in AM hrs. Wet granular later in the day. Skiers will be pleasantly surprised. We still have some very nice trail conditions. Skiing is too good to miss, but it will not last forever. Come out and enjoy a relaxing ski on our scenic trail network.

Though our snow base is thinning. We still have some very nice trail conditions. We are grooming on our Western network first today.  The result is a very nice machine groomed loose granular- powder mix. Skiing is too good to miss. Come out and enjoy a relaxing ski on our scenic trail network.

 Freshly groomed: Waterfall Trail (#2), Experimental Forest trails (#19, #5), East Albany Brook Trails (#5.#5a,#6a). Then on to the Lower Fields to #12, #11 and#13 and the scenic and simple Saco River trails #16. #17 and #30. Yates Farm nice spring conditions with some bare spots at beginning of trail, Then conditions improve.

More snow is on the way!

 Not Good News Cross Country Skiers

Due to yesterday's extremely warm temps and rain. Then last night warm winds, snow did not set up until early this AM. We lost a lot of snow. Then it set up very hard .We are out grooming with tiller, renovator and tenderizer to soften trail surface. It is a very slow groom. We are grooming for quality over quantity today. Some areas take three passes to soften. Yesterday's weather took its toll. We still have some decent skiing available, but a lot of gray ice showed up last night. We don't recommend skiing early today wait till at least 10:AM.We are accessing what trails we can groom. Call ahead for update.

 Good News Cross Country Skiers

We survived Friday's storm, even had 1" net gain of new snow. Trail Conditions are xcellent!

 Our skiers are amazed by our trail conditions. Most say best conditions in the state. Come ski the difference, find out what you have been missing. Before it is too late.

The new snow was very wet at first. As soon snow drained and temps dropped we were out grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes. We are out grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes again today and trails are coming out quit nice. The result is a loose granular- wet snow mix. We have groomed the Western Trail Network, #42 and Village loop and trails to Attitash MT Village first. Then on to scenic and simple Saco river Trails (river is awesome today!) and Yates Farm Trail Network (about 38km in all) Even though we have been in a meltdown cycle, snow coverage on our trails remained very good. This new snow makes them even better

 Good News Cross Country Skiers

Looking for excellent X-C conditions with spectacular views? We have them! 50 km 

Each day it gets warm, each night it get cold, every day we are out grooming. We are out grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes on our western trail network first then on to Yates farm network. We are grooming with tiller, renovator and tenderizer. The result is a very nice machine groomed loose granular - powder trail surface. We have done our part, now it is time to do yours. Come out and enjoy! Our picnic tables are out. Even though we are in a meltdown cycle, snow coverage on our trails is still exceptionally good.

Freshly Groomed today: Waterfall trail (#2), Experimental Forest Trail (#19), East Albany Brook Trail network(#5,#5B,#22,#6), Upper Meadow(#1), Lower fields, East Pasture, Our Upper(#16, #17) and Lower(#30) Scenic Simple Saco River Trails, Village loop and. Yates Farm Trail Network by 10 am. Trails to Attitash MT Village will be firm in AM hrs until temps rise then should ski well.

Now that temps have dropped, trail surface has set up again. We are out grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes again. Trail surface gets better with each grooming. We are grooming with tiller, renovator and tenderizer. The result is a very nice machine groomed loose granular - powder trail surface. We have done our part, now it is time to do yours. Come out and enjoy! Even though we had a meltdown, snow coverage on our trails is exceptional.

Now that temps have dropped trail surface has set up we are out grooming again today. Trail surface gets better with each grooming We are grooming fresh tracks and skate lanes with tiller, renovator and tenderizer. The result is a very nice machine groomed loose granular- packed powder trail surface. We are grooming on our Western trail Network first today. Give us a little time and you will be impressed. Even though we had a meltdown, snow coverage on our trails is exceptional (no ice, bare or wet spots).
