                                            3/4/17

Good News Cross Country Skiers

Our snow base remains excellent - 50km open - 40 km groomed

It is taking time, but trails are grooming out fine.

Looking for best X-C conditions available? We have them.

Come on out and enjoy our wind protected trails!

After several days of warm and wet conditions and then cold temps, trail surface set up firm. We are out grooming with both the renovator and tiller today. The result is a nice machine groomed packed powder-loose granular trail surface. We are grooming for quality over quantity again today. We are regrooming extensively on our Western Trail Network already .Trails improve with every grooming. Quality grooming is going slow, give us a little time then come out and enjoy. We recommend skiing on our Western Trail Network today. This area has excellent wind protection and is freshly groomed.

Our Upper and Lower Saco River trails have spectacular views are freshly gromed and are beginner friendly.

Groomed and ready: Waterfall Trail, Experimental Forest Trails, Albany Brook Trail Network and #19, #19a

Grooming in progress on: Upper Saco River Trail, Lower Fields and Pine Forest Loop, Village loop and Trail # 42.

Due to sensible snow management, we always have best X-C conditions available!

Come find out what our skiers already know: At Bear Notch Ski Touring we work hard to provide skiers with the best conditions possible.

Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you.
