Good News Cross Country Skiers!
While we are not open for skiing, due to requests for passes, gift certificates and equipment. We will be open from 10AM -2 PM on Saturday.
Happy Holidays see you when it snows.

Side Note: Though we do not have snow. We are considering opening our scenic trail network to walkers at a reduced rate. This would happen on 12/26/23. A good opportunity for non-skiers to come find out what they are missing.

Not Good News Cross Country Skiers! We are closed

This last warm rain wiped us out. We have had flooding and extreme melt down of snow. It is depressing out there. It will take a snow storm to reopen.

Good News Cross Country Skiers!

We are out grooming. With the warm temps the snow is thinning. At this point we have a limited amount open. About 8km out and back ski. While it is limited, skiers are very impressed with our trail conditions.   It is so nice you will want to ski it twice! Best snow is still on Upper Meadow, Waterfall Trail #2 to trail #19 then out to Powder House and back down #2

Grooming today on: Upper Meadow, Waterfall Trail (#2) to Experimental Forest Trail (#19).

Albany Brook trails #5 & #6 have thin coverage, some bare spots and lots of pine cones, but are skiable to adventurous seasoned skiers.

 

It is slow going, but we are working hard to provide the best X-C conditions available. Come out and enjoy.

We survived the rain event. Now that temps have dropped and snow has drained, we are out grooming. At this point we have a limited amount open. About 8km out and back ski. While it is limited, skiers are very impressed with our trail conditions.   It is so nice you will want to ski it twice! Best snow is still on Upper Meadow, trail #2 to trail #19 then out to Powder House and back.

We survived the rain event. Now that temps have dropped and snow has drained, we are out grooming. At this point we have a limited amount open. About 5km out and back ski. We have groomed on trails 5 & #6. Snow coverage on these trails has some thin spots, but is skiable. Best snow is still on Upper Meadow, trail #2 and trail #19.

Grooming today on: Upper Meadow, Waterfall Trail (#2) to Experimental Forest Trail (#19).

Expect to have trails #5 &#6 for tomorrow

We are grooming mostly for season pass holders. We are not staffing for day pass sales (out working on trails).For non-pass holders there is a donation box on porch railing by American Flag. 

It is slow going, but we are working hard to provide decent X-C conditions. Come out and enjoy.

We are closed today due to rain. Once snow drain and temps drop, we willgo out and access the trails. Hopefully there will be enough snow left to groom. Stay tuned

    Good News Cross Country Skiers!

We are open and grooming.

 Looking for excellent early season conditions on groomed natural snow? We have them!

 10 km of very nice groomed trails leaving from our base area. Come out and enjoy.

We received 10" new snow from the last storm. That said, the last storm was a very clingy one. We had many bent over trees and branches to deal with. It has been a lot of work. The result is amazingly good early season trail conditions. Come out and enjoy a great ski before the warm spell.  

 

Fresh Grooming on: Upper Meadow, Waterfall Trail (#2), Experimental Forest Trail (#19), East Albany Brook Trails (#5&#6), Lower Fields and Trails #13 & #11.

    Good News Cross Country Skiers

           X-C ski season has arrived.  

        It is a winter wonderland out on trails!

We received 10" so far from last night's storm. Our Western Trail Network still retained 4" of dense base from previous 9" storm. This new snow on top will make for very nice early season conditions.

That said this storm is a very clingy one. We have many bent over trees and branches to deal with. We will be out today dealing with this. Once temps drop this snow should groom well. We plan on starting to groom as soon as it makes sense. Pass holders feel welcome to come out and enjoy!
