Good News Cross Country Skiers

Looking for best X-C conditions available?

We have them.

After yesterday’s warm temps and cool temps overnight our trail surface is very firm this AM. We are out grooming on our Western trail network again today. Grooming will be slow, we have some icy spots. Give us a little time and we will improve our trail conditions. Spring conditions today. Bring out sunglasses and a picnic snack. Get out there and enjoy. It will not last forever.

The real good news is that, due lots of shoveling and several small snow storms, we still have snow to groom. Our skiers tell us we have best conditions in New England.

Our skiers are amazed with our trail conditions. Come find out why our skiers are so impressed.

Let us make a Bear Notch Believer out of you.

Trail conditions improve with each grooming. The result is a machine groomed loose granular sugar snow surface (sweet skiing). We are producing very nice ski condition for the weekend. Conditions are too good to miss, come out and enjoy.

Good News Cross Country Skiers

The good news is we received 5” new snow before the rain.

The not so good news is we received a lot of rain and our trail network is still draining. It is too wet to groom right now. On all trails groomed yesterday there will be a glaze on trail surface early this AM. After temps rise this glaze go away and skiing will be decent. We recommend waiting a little while before coming out to ski today.
